I think I have a dancer on my hands. And I couldn't be happier !! Let me explain. Ever since Maddie has discovered Katelyn's tap shoes , she has insisted on having them on. First thing in the morning I pick her up from her crib, change her diaper, get her clothes on, and then she points to the closet. I know what she wants and so we put her tap shoes on. No socks, just shoes. Forget about normal shoes, it is the tap shoes and only the tap shoes. Forget about trying to put normal shoes on(we have gone to Smith's many times with tap shoes on her feet). She wears them pretty much all day long. Sometimes insisting on taking them to bed with her. I don't know what is so intriguing about these tap shoes, maybe it is the sound, the shininess of the shoes. Who knows, but I just can't wait to put her in dance !! We are so proud. Tap on sister.

I recently entered some of my scrapbook pages in the State Fair. To much to my surprise, I received a Best of Show ribbon !! I was totally and completely shocked !! I just wanted to enter some pages and see what happened. So there you go. I didn't even want to post about it but Patrick said I should. I also received two first place ribbons and one 5th place ribbon as well. So I was thrilled !! Scrapbooking is my favorite hobby and I am so blessed to be able to capture our families stories and pictures for everyone to enjoy. Happy scrapping !!

I know what you are thinking. Katelyn is not old enough to go to preschool !! Well she is and she isn't. She is three so technically she can do two years of preschool. We have been telling her about preschool for a couple months now and she has gotten more and more excited. She could hardly stand it the morning of the first day. Which was this Tuesday. We got her dressed and her backpack on and away she went. No worries for this girl. She loves it so far and I am sure it will be a great year. Her friend Christian is also in her class so that does help and makes it a little less scary I guess. She loves her teacher and snack time !! The only thing that is hard is getting her up that early, we are still working on that.
