Family pictures

As you can see we have been playing with our new camera. The ones of the kids are so precious to me. To see their faces light up when they came to see him just melts my heart. We also took a few shots of sweet baby Noah. He is the quietest babies and does not really cry that often. Well i must go, i can't keep my eyes awake !!! Maybe another update tomorrow when we get him home.

Noah's Arrival

He's here !! He was born today at 3:15 p.m. weighing in at 6 pounds 15 oz. and 20 inches long. We are so excited to have him here with us. Everything went well except that he came out sideways and face up !! Babies usually come out face down. So he has a huge bruise on his head and his face was also swollen for a while. I felt so bad for him but he is sleeping peacefully now and the bruise will fade and be gone in a couple days. I am doing well and am so excited to have my little boy here in my arms. More to come in the next couple of days. So long for now.

The air show at Hill Air Force Base

We went up to see the air show Saturday. It was so much fun to see all the planes out there. There were so many people there !! The girls and Patrick first went into the KC135 big plane and they got to sit in the cockpit and they liked that. We then went around looking at all the planes until it was time for lunch. After lunch they had a few more planes up in the air. The girls loved the smaller planes that did loopdy loops and curly q's (that is what we called the tricks). It was then time for the main event - The thunderbirds. They are F-16 planes that they have painted to look like birds on the bottom of the plane. (Uncle Tyler flys the F-16's for the Air Force). They were amazing planes, but very loud. We brought ear protectors for both of the girls and that helped alot. There were six thunderbirds up in the sky at one time. They flew upside down, sideways and did tricks with eachother during the show. We left at that time and stopped to get Katelyn some planes to play with at home, she has not put them down since! Maybe she'll be a pilot !! Well it was a great day.

P.S. Stay tuned tomorrow for baby pictures tomorrow. We are going in to the hospital in the morning.

My new camera

Last weekend we finally broke down and bought a SLR camera. We both have been wanting one for a very long time now and figured with the new baby coming why not. So here I am looking through it. I just want to say that I love, love, love it. It takes absolutely gorgeous pictures and it takes them so much faster than my point and shoot. You push the button and it takes the picture, no waiting time. And you can take multiple pictures right in a row. I have been taking so many pictures that I need to get them loaded on the computer to show you. I am so thrilled to have my new play toy !!

The Dinasour museum

We have been wanting to take Katelyn down to the dinosaur museum for the longest time. So since I don't work on Saturdays anymore we headed down to see the dinosaurs. Katelyn was so excited the whole time, she loved every minute of it. Since she knows the names of all the types of dinosaurs she would go around and say " that is a long neck mommy"!! She loved to see all the different dinosaur bones and even Maddie enjoyed it. They have a place where you can go and uncover the dinosaur bones and the girls loved that. So it was a hit as i knew it would be.
