Halloween Highlights 2013

Hi guys !

I wanted to check in and share some pages that were shared on the Becky Higgins Creative Team blog post yesterday. They are part of the Creative Team October blog post. If you haven't checked it out yet please do, I am constantly amazed at the talent that the team produces every month. Here is the link.

With Halloween right around the corner I have been inspired to do some Halloween pages. I have already completed Halloween week from 2013 but there were some photos that I had not scrapped yet.

For these pages I used the Becky Higgins Halloween Themed cards. I downloaded them digitally and then printed them out. Purchasing digital cards is a great option if you don't have access to the physical cards but want to use them right away. I love it and do this often.

This is my title card. I started out with the digital card, adding some number stickers, a rub on from my stash and a stamp. I love when I can use up my stash.

Back in 2013 we had a neighborhood/friend Halloween party. The kids still talk about it and ask to do another one each Halloween. We made some fun treats, played Halloween bingo, musical chairs, ect.
The first journaling card talks about our party. The next photo is some of our new Halloween decorations. Although they might not be to exciting, we are slowly building our stash.

The Halloween Themed cards have lots of cute cards. Lots of filler cards like the black polka dot card here.

Another close up.

Here are some photos of the second page.

One photo of the punch bowl. The kids were very specific on what kind of treats they wanted. They helped plan everything.

This particular year I managed to get some photos of the kids in their costumes. Last year, not so much. Mental note this week : TAKE THE KIDS OUT TO GET SOME PHOTOS IN THEIR COSTUMES.

Isn't this the cutest Minion ever ?!!!

We also had a cute kitty cat and a Sofia The First princess.

I used this pumpkin journaling card and added some wooden arrows. I love how they point to both side, because I love both of these pictures.

I needed to add some more journaling. So I added a 4x6 Journaling card in. I left it simple with just a few rub ons and embellishments.

One last journaling card. This one was one of my favorites out of the pack. I added some journaling
at the bottom and a simple chipboard piece to the top.

And just like that Halloween 2013 is in the books. Thanks for coming everybody. Check back later this week. I have another Halloween week to share with you. See I told you I have been inspired by all things Halloween.

Project Life Week 11

Hello everyone. I know it's been a while. How is everyone and how are your albums coming
together ?

As always I have been busy with life, the kids, the house cleaning, and of course creating Project Life pages.

I took some time these past few days to get Week 11 done. It has been patiently waiting for me to work on it. The whole week is almost done but I am going to share the first page with you today.

Here is what the whole page looks like.

I used a combination of Studio Calico kits and Ali Edwards Story AM/PM kit. This title card has a fun pink overlay. I cut out the "Story" digital brush and glued it to the top of the overlay. The sun acrylic is also from the story kit.

I am really loving these story kits. I had to put a hold on them right now, because I didn't have time to use them. I told myself that I needed to use the ones I have then I can subscribe again ! Hows that for incentive to get to work.  You should all check them out.

The card in the corner is from the Story Kit. I added some journaling, a heart rub on, a stamp, and a star.

Here is a fun photo of Noah being a puppy and eating the trail of fruit loops around the kitchen. I think this card was from a Studio Calico kit, but it is a Ali Edwards card.

Do you guys remember the Ice Bucket Challenge ? Well we were out doing yard work one weekend and the kids were complaining that they were soooo hot. It's March guys, its not hot. But they wanted to do the ice bucket challenge to cool off. Okay guys, here you go.

Here is a funny picture of Maddie while they were running through the sprinklers. Yes, apparently googles are a required eye wear.

One last one. This week we celebrated Pie Die. When it is March 14 th.  It is a fun little holiday where we eat pizza and pie. I used the card with the big 3 on it and added the .14 to make sure we knew it was for pie day.

Well that is it for me today. I have to finish one last card on the rest of week 11 and then I will share as well. I also have a small insert just about done to show you as well.

Thanks for coming everybody. Happy Scrapping.

Project Life Week 7 | Take 2

Hi everybody !

I have been slowly chipping away at the first part of my 2015 Project Life album. Crossing the dots, and dotting the I's so to speak. All the while working on the empty spaces.

*** Disclaimer *** Ha Ha. Yes, yes, I know that it is Oct. and nobody wants to see Valentine's Day stuff right now. So I am sorry. **

The start of the year if I had an event that I wanted to scrap I would plan ahead and add in a page protector. Now is the time that I am going back and filling in those pockets. So Fun !!

Recently I was working on a beach trip and I had to re arrange my Week 7. Originally I did week 7 for a Design Team assignment. Since then I needed to rearrange things and my plans changed.

Let's get to the sharing shall we.

Most of the supplies that I used for this one was from misc Studio Calico kits.

Shoe shopping and Katelyn's birthday. The white card was from a SC kit but it is from one of my favs Ali Edwards. Was anybody else soooo excited to see her cards and such in the SC kit ?!!

More regular life. Katelyn's birthday cake on her actual birthday.

Long live legos.  I added this digital brush from Ali Edwards.

Moving onto the second page. For the second page I used the BH Design G page protector. One of my favorites. It is so versatile.

On the way down to the beach we made a few stops. The first one was to pick up my Valentine's Day present. A 50 mm lens ! As you can imagine, I had to test it out the whole way down. We also stopped for lunch and then at the fruit stand. Always a must.

My son came home with the photo on the right side from school for Valentine's Day !! Adorable right ? This was the main reason for using this particular page protector. Love it !

Fresh Oranges. Yummmm.

I did end up adding in one of my favorite pictures from our play at the beach. I also did a whole spread full of beach photos. So stay tuned for that.

This one was rather simple but seriously I love how it turned out. I really would love to get some more pages/photos/stories documented very soon. With that being said I might do more "simple" spreads. We shall see. Cause you all know that I LOVE to play, embellish, use STUFF, ect.

Thanks for coming everybody !

Have a wonderful week and weekend. I will see if I can pop back in soon and share more.
