We had two neighbor kids over to play today. (Sisters - Maggie and Amelia)They wanted to play dress up and each took turns picking out a princess dress - Katelyn decided to be Supergirl instead of a princess. I then sent them outside with a Halloween bucket to pick some leaves for a fun craft. They had lots of fun finding different colors, sizes, and shapes of leaves. When the leaves were all gathered the kids glued them onto papers and chose a leaf to represent each member of their family. Maddie had both sets of grandparents on her paper. She sure does love them. Patrick requested pictures so I am doing up this post for him. It was a fun day but I am glad that I only have three kids to watch now !!

Guest Designer

Today I am a Guest Designer on a Scrapbooking page kit website called A Page 4 All Seasons. The website is apage4allseasons.com and from there you click on blog. They sell the most adorable page kits so make sure to check them out. And check me out as well.
The layouts above are ones I put together using one of their kits. The first one is of Katelyn's adventures at the Princess Festival this past summer. The next layout is a story that I have been wanting to tell about my sweet Maddie girl. I hope that the picture is big enough that you can read the journaling. Try clicking on the picture to make it bigger.
Hope you have enjoyed my layouts and now get out there and scrap !!

Paper Trail Makers Challenge
I thought that I would play along in this weeks challenge at the Paper Trail Makers Challenge blog. Had lots of fun with circles. This layout was from last summer at the pool and how we discovered that daddy can double as a whale !! They ask for the daddy whale every time we go to the pool now. So fun. Look very close for the whale !!

No longer a baby

My sweet baby boy is no longer a tiny baby. In a blink of an eye he went from a small, precious, bundle of joy to a mobile, hurry and close the bathroom door, loud boy. It went by way to fast.A few weeks ago I took him down to get his One Year photos taken. Well, they didn't go so well. There were a lot of tears and not a lot of smiles. Oh well he is still so handsome and so cute with his birthday cake.
Love you Noah.

Happiness Is
I follow and read many great blogs. One of which is Kara Layne Photography. She is in Arizona and usually posts a "HAPPINESS IS" weekly post and I love it. So I thought that I would try it.
I know it has been way too long since I have even posted so I have a lot to catch up on. So here is my "HAPPINESS IS" post Niebuhr style.

There were so many more I wanted to share. So many wonderful happy moments. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time.

Easter festivities

Our Easter weekend started out bright and early Saturday morning at the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt that we have been going to ever since Katelyn was born. It was a little different this year with the white snow covering the ground, making the egg hunt a little bit easier. You could definitely see where the eggs were. Maddie had a little trouble picking up the eggs with her gloves on. Katelyn loved to see how fast she could run and how many eggs she could get. Noah was not impressed and just wanted to eat the eggs. It was still fun and all the kids had fun despite the cold.
Sunday morning was wonderful. The night before Patrick had set out an egg path that lead from each of the girls rooms upstairs. They thought that was the best. We each took turns looking for our Easter baskets. Katelyn kept saying " That Easter Bunny sure is tricky".
The night before I had put some creme brulee french toast and after finding our baskets we had a wonderful, delicious breakfast of baked french toast with strawberries.
After breakfast we set the girls loose to find the hidden eggs. It was so funny to watch the girls run around as fast as they could looking for hidden eggs. I had bought some dinosaur eggs(they had cracks on the eggs and then little dinosaurs inside). They were a big hit and are now part of Katelyns collection of dinosaur paraphernalia.
And of course there was Conference mixed in. Loved Conference especially the talk about Mothers and Daughters.
I quickly put together this years Easter layout. The first side is all digital and then the other side is a large picture of Noah that I put some digital elements on it and printed it out. I then put the paper piece together and then stapled it on the big photo. It was fun.

Been scrappin'

As I am sure all of you know I love to scrapbook. It is my passion. So I thought some of you might like to see some of my recent pages. I am so proud of them. The first one is of Noah at four months old. The next one is of us bringing Noah home. The one after that is his blessing day. As you might have guessed I am working on his book trying to get caught up. Stay tuned for this years Easter pics and a layout. Take care and thanks for looking.
