Project life 2011
I am participating in Project Life again this year and so excited. It has become a favorite of mine. It really highlights the everyday life of our little family. This year I really want to add more to my album. If you are not familiar with the product I will try to explain. It is a scrapbooking kit that is so easy to use. You put your pictures in the slots and journal on the journaling cards. The above picture is of my cover page. I wanted to put a picture of all of us on the front, to show how we look in the beginning of 2011.
This is the very first page of January. It covers January 1-4. The kit includes the journaling cards in the top left slot. There are many to choose from in the kit. It also comes with a date stamp that you see on the journaling card. There are 4 picture slots on each side(page protector). The first picture is of my brother Rob and maddie bowling. He and his girlfriend Brighton were here after christmas and we all went bowling on Jan. 1. The kit also includes the journaling cards in the middle of the pictures. The cards are amazing. I love them. The kit also includes number stickers and days of the week stickers. The second picture is actually maddie's signature. I wanted to include that because she worked so hard in preschool to write her name. The third picture is of Noah with the windex. He is my little helper around the house.
This is a 8.5x11 page that i did about Noah playing with his trains. There were so many pictures that I couldn't just choose one for the album. So I did this digitally, so much faster, and then printed it out and stuck it in our album. The journaling talks about how he takes the trains, and the tracks out to the table just about every day and then we play trains. I love having these types of pages in my book and plan on doing some more throughout the year.
This page is the second side of my first week of January. The first picture is of Maddie right before hat day at preschool. The second picture is of Maddie lining up the magnetic letters on the
fridge. She has got them all down now thanks to help from home and preschool. The third picture is of our mailbox. The four picture is of Noah. I also included Noah's 18 month checkup paper from the pediatrician. It says weight, height. I also included my ticket from "date night". We saw Secretariat. I loved it of course.
This is what the whole week looks like all together. This album has been so fun to put together and am going to try to get caught up on this year. I just got finished with last years album. So I will share when I get them done. Thanks for looking everyone.

Thanks for sharing your progress at Big Picture Classes... your work is really giving me good ideas and direction for my own Project Life album... I too am planning on to incorporate extra photos and simple digital layouts in between the pages. It's great to see how someone else is putting it together - keeping it simple, but also creative. Thanks!
Hi,
I will start something similar in December. Just curious, where did you find the date brush? I need something like that. Thanks!
Hi Martha - Do you mean the days of the week ? They are a brush set available from Ali Edwards on Designerdigitals.com. Just look under days and months. And then the month and the date is just a font that I added to the picture.
