I am so thrilled that I am back with you today sharing another Project Life spread. This one is from way back, week 5 to be specific. I haven't shared this one yet. I will be here more often hopefully, sharing more. Okay let's get to it.
As it turned out I didn't take a lot of photos that week. So I improvised and used one photo and made it stretch over two 4x6 pockets. Super love that, going to need to do that again. Another thing I loved about this spread were the colors. A lot of blues and pinks.
This first filler card is one from the Currently Edition from Becky Higgins. I used a stamp from Ali Edwards Storytelling kit I think. The second card with the photo on it tells a little story about how Patrick and I went out for Indian Food and it was spicy and not for Sissies ! Lol.
One of the things I will do if I see a saying that I like is to either pin it to pinterest or I will take a screenshot of it with my phone. That has been a great way to remember that I wanted to use that saying in my PL album. I will usually see it in my photos when I am looking through them to print off photos. I added this cute saying to a tag and there you have it.
The clear transparency card was one I used for week 4. I embellished it so that It would go with this spread as well. I spelled out the word Hunt as we were hunting items to add to our bag.
This 4x6 journaling card is from the Currently Edition of PL as well. I added a photo of Noah with his bag and used the rest of the space for journaling.
Here is the right side of the spread.
Before I picked up the kids from school to go to the park I took this photo of their scavenger hunt bags.
** Here is the link to the Scavenger Hunt I found on Pinterest **
I love pinterest. I found this great scavenger hunt list that and it was all ready for me to print up. I printed directly onto the paper bags using my printer and it was a huge hit. And can I just say I love that little check list sticker. It is from Simple Stories, one of their clear sticker sets. I think it was Carpe Diem.
The weather was pretty good that week. A little on the cold side but we spent a lot of time outside. The kids set up cones going down the sidewalk and rode their bikes, and roller blades in and out. I used a stamp from a Studio Calico kit and added a few stickers.
Can I just say that I love Ali Edwards. There I said it. She has the best saying, the best products, ect. I can't remember where I came across this saying from her but I knew it had to go into my album. Even though I am not participating in her OLW class I always have a word for the year. My word this year was AWARE. I wanted to work on being aware of everything, everyone, extra. So this saying was screaming at me !! I need to blow it up and add it somewhere in my scrap space.
At the park there is this hill. As we were looking for our nature items we started to climb this hill. I thought, wow, this would make a great picture spot. So I asked Katelyn to take a few photos while I asked the other two about how their hunt was going. I used a digital stamp from Kellie Stamps on the bottom and added a chipboard piece from a Story Kit from Ali Edwards.
Thanks for coming over to the blog today ! I am loving getting to share some of my older Project Life Weeks with you all and I hope you are liking them too.
Next up is Thursday of Week In The Life. Have a great weekend everyone !
