Project Life Week 9

Welcome to week 9.

Yes, I know. That was soooo long ago. It is done, and we are moving on.

I wanted to share it with you today.

I am still experimenting with the light in our new house. Still haven't found a good "photo" spot yet.

First Page: Maddi'es 6th birthday. Our yard was put in at the new house. Grandma and Grandpa were here for a visit.

Used a Cathy Zielske Journaling Card. Added the tag before printing and then added butterfly and letters at the bottom.

Added a photo of the girls waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to come to a blank grid journaling card.

I cut one of the filler cards that came with the seafoam kit, added a strip of another journaling card to the top.  The happy birthday is from Cathy Zielske.

Maddie and her 6 fingers. Heart from Studio Calico.

The weekly home picture. They put in the grass, trees, ect. that week.

The kids love to ask grandpa to help them play games on his computer. They were here for a visit.

Brush from Ali Edwards.

I added an insert this week. We had Patrick's parents in town and so on that Saturday we took the kids to the park, and they have a stream running through the park.

Used Becky Higgins Design E page protector.

The journaling card is from the Studio Calico PL kit.

Again, sorry for the bad photos.

This is the other side of the insert. In our church we get baptized when we turn 8. Katelyn turned eight the month before.

I included some photos from the event, a little letter from me. Also had her write a little something.

Also I included her invitation that I did. ** Disclaimer ** I took some inspiration from the wonderful Emily from her great blog. You can find it here.

The last page.  Across the street from where they are building our new house is a Almond tree orchard. They were in bloom and were so pretty. We stopped by and got a few pics.

A few of the photos.

This one I actually sized the arrow and then printed it out on cardstock. Finished with some glue onto the photo.

That is it for Week 9.

As always, if you have any questions, comments. Please don't hesitate. Have a wonderful weekend everybody.  I've got lots of projects to try and tackle. And my mom is here for a visit !! Yeah !!

Hi there !!

Why hello there . . .

I have to start off by saying that I am soooo sorry for being gone for so long. I certainly didn't mean for it to happen but other things have been on my mind, well mainly the new house.

I have been busy trying to settle in, paint the place, plan a backyard, all while just trying to survive real life.

But I thought that it was time to check in with you all. I haven't actually worked on my PL album till this past week.  And I am done with week 9. I will share soon.

A blog post is always a little awkward without pictures. So I want to share some photos from Noah's first T-ball experience. He went through a program through the city where they first learn the basics and then last week they had a game. And let me just say that watching three year olds play t-ball is very cute and funny to watch.  I loved it. Noah did great !!

Here we go

Catching the ball.

 Throwing the ball

Ground balls

Listening to the instructions on how to hit the ball.

Instructions from Patrick. All the kids had to have a parent to help out.

Swinging the bat in the game.  That was his favorite part.

Coversations while playing outfield during the game.

Time for me to go. I hope to get some time to share week 9 with you soon. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. I've shipped the boys off to a camp out. So it's girls night in for today and tomorrow morning. The girls are begging to "get started with girls night in".  Until next time.
