Project Life Week 44 | 2014

Well Hello November ! How did that happen ?

With Halloween over and the Holidays right around the corner I would love to try and get some Project Life catch up done. We shall see how it goes though. How about you guys ? Any scrappy things happening ?

During the month of Oct. I had Halloween on the brain. So naturally I wanted to scrapbook Halloween pics and stories. That is exactly what I did. I went back and worked on Halloween week from 2014.

Here is a look at both pages.

Lets talk about the title card. I had saved the orange 4x6 card from the SC kit from last year. I loved the circle and the large 2014. The whole card was orange and I thought that it was too much orange. I cut out the circle and put it onto a piece of cardstock.

I included the week # and the date.

As I look back on last year at this time Rain seems to be a trend. ( Last year and this year) Because it has been raining for the past 2 days. But my kids still love to play in the rain and actually were out in the cold and rain for a few hours yesterday.

I added an Ali Edwards brush and then added some white letters to spell RAIN.

Also on this page were a few pictures of Noah and I from his Kindergarten class. I went every Thursday and volunteered in his class. The smaller one is of Noah riding the bikes on the playground. I used the fun puffy diamond embellishments from the SC kit.

This first journaling card was all about deciding to submit my pages for the Becky Higgins Creative Team. I thought that the saying NO, YES, MAYBE was perfect. It was the exact feelings that I was going through.

I really loved this card with lots of dates on it. I left it simple and only added a puffy heart sticker.

Let's move on to the second page.

I included a photo of Katelyn making an obstacle course for her Paw Patrol pups.

This first journaling card is all about Maddie's Halloween costume. Noah was super excited to get all his pumpkin "guts" out all by himself.

Some more journaling cards.

So I have to admit that last year I did not get any photos of the kids in their costumes. * GASP * I know right ?!! It was an epic fail. But I included these few photos from Halloween down on the bottom of my page 2.

I used this card to journal about our Halloween. I added a rub on in the left corner and added a fun cluster on an angle on the right to balance it all out.

It feels great to have Halloween 2014 all done and documented.

Now I am off to do some more scrapbooking. Christmas is all over my desk right now ?!!!! Yippeeee.
Take care everybody.
