On Vacation

I have to say sorry for being missing around here lately. Right now we are currently on Vacation in Utah at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They are thoroughly enjoying our visit as are we. I just wanted to check in with you all. Once I get home next week and get some time to work on some projects I will sure share.

I wanted to share some pictures from our trip so far. ** "I did not edit any photos ***

We are staying with my mom's cousin and she has she four cats, a bird, and a dog. The kids are in heaven with all the animals to play with. The cats love to play with the laser, they chase it all over the house.There is a small red laser light on the floor in front of the cat.

We went down to the dinosaur museum to see Katelyn's "dinosurs". We took my mom's cousin's daughter with us.

We stopped by to see the newest member of our family, baby Charlotte. The girls also had a sleep over last night with these cousins and had so much fun.

Last night we went down to see the lights. These were lights that you drive through in your car. They were great. The kids loved them. They even had 3d glasses !!

I've got to go now, our University of Utah football team is playing their bowl game this afternoon, and then it is new years eve. I wish you all a very wonderful New Years Eve.  See you next week in 2012 !!

Project Life Week 35

Merry Christmas everyone !! I hope you all had a wonderful, fun filled day. Ours was wonderful. Full of love, peace, and joy.

I have another quick week of PL to share. The week of August 29 - September 4. This was a very busy week. Most of it will be covered in my Week In The Life Album. My parents came to visit with us this week as well.

I had this owl in my stash and wanted it to use it to match the girls room decor.

I had taken some pictures of the kids room. So I used a divided 6x12 page protector.

This card was on the engagement party favors. Stitched it on the bottom.

December Daily Days 14 - 18

I've got some more December Daily Pages done. Days 14 through 18. Still behind but that is ok.

Day 14 - We had a pajama lunch picnic under the Christmas tree. I had some fun with the camera, pictures are not in focus. Put it on the floor and set the timer. Maddie even brought the reindeers over to have lunch with us.

Day 16 - Me and my little elf helper making homemade pizza dough. Just used on page for this day. My album is already huge !!

Day 17 - My mother started the 12 days of Christmas for the girls today and they were given Rudolph and Clarise stamps. So we sat down and did some stamping. Again just one page today.

Day 18 - Santa fashion and Santa Hats.

Used a Ali Edwards December Daily template from last year. The brush is from her Messy little Christmas brush set.

That is all I have gotten done so far. Not sure how much I will be around for the next little while. Had company over last night and now Christmas is coming. Next Tuesday we are traveling back to Utah. So If you don't hear from me before Christmas I wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Project Life Week 34

I have been waiting for some more photo paper so that I could print some more pictures for this week. I was expecting it yesterday but it came today. So I am now done with week 34.  The week of August 22- August 28.

This week was all about getting my new camera and back to school. Three extra page inserts this week.

Saved the tag from my camera. Used a brush on the bottom of the card from here.

letters stickers from October Afternoon. Sticker from My Minds Eye. Took the paper from one of the extra journaling cards and cut it up and put it on the blank journaling card. A good way of using those up for me.

The Wednesday sticker is from Jillibean soup. They have all the days of the week on one sheet.
The word swim is from Ali Edwards playing brush set. Ticket is from Maya Road.

Here is the first extra page. I took a picture of me holding the camera in the mirror.The picture is 6x6. Journaled on some cardstock. The two circles at the bottom are from here. The brush at the bottom is from here. Used a 6x12 Becky Higgins page protector.

Here is the other side. I took some pictures of Noah playing with his train. Put them together on a 6x12 sheet in photoshop and printed it out. Here it is in the album.

The next extra page is of Katelyn's first day of school. Used a Becky Higgins page protector design G. Here it is in the album. Used one of the vertical photo pockets for my journaling square. Had some school stuff in my stash and used that. Also included a page of Katelyn's handwriting from school.

The next extra page was some plans that Patrick had sketched out for the backyard. Wanted to save them so just put them in the album. Printed on a journaling card and attached it to the page with a mini paper clip from Tim Holtz.

Used a ticket from here. Journaled on the ticket, printed it out, and then glued it to the hambley prints transparency.  Letter stickers from October Afternoon.

Been using up some of those extra journaling cards, can you tell !! I cut the bottom off of one. Used a tag that I had. Glued them both onto another one of the extra journaling cards. I think they are called filler cards in the core kit.
